Many are turning to e-readers to unwind at night before going to sleep. But…you might want to revert back to the old fashion paper books for a better night’s sleep. According to a new study done at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston use of an e-reader may actually keep you awake longer and decrease the amount of REM sleep you get. Although the study was a small sample, it may be worth changing your bedtime habit for improved quality of sleep. You might want to take the electronics out of your children’s bedrooms at night to help them sleep better for improved school performance.
